I have 4 kids and a home daycare. We have tried crayons that are cheaper to save money, trust me why I say they are NOT the same. The most obvious difference is the color brilliance and they other crayons seem to have too much oil or wax or some thing in them because they don't go on the paper well.

There is something so awesome about opening a fresh box of crayola crayons! I love them! It seems as if other brands cant compare!

Crayola is the only way to go! I teach elementary school. At the beginning of each year, students used to bring pencils, erasers, crayons, etc. The problem was that the students who brought store-brand crayons always had problems. Some are waxy and don't provide good coverage, others break easily. The teachers have now put out a request for only Crayola crayons. They may be a few cents more than the generic brands, but they're well worth the price.

I can only afford Crayola crayons when they are on sale at the beginning of the school year. Having used many different brands, Crayola is definately the BEST. Some of the cheap, off brands are streaky or the color just isn't the way it looks. Crayola is bright and never streaky. I finally threw away the cheap brands we had because I hated the way they colored. Now my son has moved on to colored pencils...

This is a product that has lasted generations and will last! It encourages children to use imagination

We love all things Crayola. They have fantastic products and are always coming out with new fun stuff for my little one. I only buy Crayola crayons, so when we go out to eat at restaurants and my son gets coloring pages and crayons he gets upset when they don't work very well like his Crayola crayons at home. It great that Crayola has been around forever and has such amazing products that we can trust!

I like the smooth even marks these crayons make. Most of the wax gets absorbed into the paper instead of flaking off.

To be frank, I think the crayola brand has the best crayons. The color is brighter and not as waxy.

Crayola crayons are a household name for my family including myself, and we actually love using this product for all of our creative expressions! As a concerned parent I love the all the different options for toddler's, school-aged children etc, and most of all it's toxic free and safe for my family to use, most of all their commitment to excellent, safe, quality products which serves as a cornerstone for my family when a company puts safety first and creating products that stimulate and challenge growing children, and durability that last and very practical for any budget!
