Fun Tunes, Not So Great Idea The music is fun and gets you to sing along, the plot sort of makes you invested in the characters and their stories, but the glamorization of the abuse of animals and exploitation of unique people isn't a great movie topic. The movie by itself is okay, maybe a 3/5 just for the catchy tunes, not really sure why they needed to make a love story between Zendaya and Efron's characters when they could have just expanded on Jackman and William's characters love story. In any case if it weren't pushing the idea that the circus wasn't horrible and cruel to the workers maybe I would like it more, but since it does I'm not exactly a fan.

The music is super catchy and I understand it is just supposed to be an enjoyable movie. However, PT Barnum committed horrible abuses against disabled people. Making a movie that centers him as a hero to disabled people is incredibly hurtful.

I've heard better, I've heard worse Let me guess, you heard "This is Me" and now you're in love? Yes, the music is nice in its respect, but the story is nothing short of an exaggeration of reality and a basic plotline. I know it's not a popular opinion, but quite frankly I've heard better but I've also heard worse.

Good storyline and loved the singing. It's my kids's number one show.

One of the best sounds ever made! One of the best soundtracks ever made! The songs are so powerful! Every song gives me the chills. The movie is equally amazing. I bought the soundtrack right after watching the movie. My children love it so much. Play it in our car every time we go somewhere.
