just looks awkward on my nails. would prefer to color a plain polish, and if I'm going for something different, would go to a salon. This looks messy

Beautiful colors but could never get the magnet design to work

I bought this product from sally hansen, magnetic nail color in graphite granite. I freaked on the price but decided to get it anyway. The first time I used it, it worked fine. I tried using it again about 4 weeks later and when I tried to shake the bottle, I couldnt hear anything inside and it was sticky and not like it should have been. Dont think I will be getting another color from this product.

None of the colors in this collection are generally very attractive to me. Also, if you don't hold the magnet just right it will. not. work. It's actually kind of frustrating.

I love this polish. It does have a bit of a learning curve, on how to hold the magnet, how thick a layer to put on, ect. but once you get the hang of it you have fabulous looking nails! Make sure to use a good topcoat, as it seems to really make the design "pop". I do think it's a little overpriced for what it is, but if you're a nail fanatic like me you need a good magnetic polish in your collection!

I was able to perform the magnetic part pretty easily with not huge problems. But the color choices aren't great!

I had tried a couple of different magnetic nail polishes, none of them worked. I got two for my birthday and these are the first ones that worked! I really liked them but you have to have patience !

The nail polish did not have a lot of the metal pigments which causes the designs with the magnet compared to some of the other magnetic nail polish I have tried. It could also be that the magnet was not strong enough to draw out the pigments. Even with a top coat and base coat on it only lasted on my nails for about a week since I use my hands a lot at work but I suspect that if you don't use your hands a lot it would stay on longer.

this can be cumbersome to use at first, but once you get the hang of it, its really fun to switch up your colors all the time!

I loved how the design turned out with using the magnet. The colors look great. I only had problems with chipping even with a top coat.

I like the idea of this but it's a little difficult to use. The magnet is in the top of the bottle and you have to hold it over your finger right after applying the color to get the design. There is a guide on the bottle to help you not touch you nail but I smudged a few times. Once I was done my nails looked pretty cool with little wavy lines. I think $10 is a little high priced but still cheaper than going to a salon. I'm sure with more practice I'll get the technique down.

I wasn't excited about the price but bought it anyway. I bought 902 Polar Purple and I love the color. Using the magnet didn't roduce the look I really expected so I don't use the magnet. After a month it was very thick, added a few drops of acetone and works great again. Overall the color was the best part. Cost? Not so much. It was OK.

This is a really cool polish if you want to try something different. I like that the magnet creates designs on you nails. It does take a few time to get it"right" though and does require patience.

Overall this is a good polish, you do get a good design, put on your first coat let dry, then second coat 1 finger at a time, let the magnet hover over the nail for about 30 seconds boom! design. Doesnt chip too easily,(as long as you use topcoat) great color( I have the polar purple). my only complaint is if you accidently tap the magnet to your nail you are going to smudge. I do think the 10 dollar price is a tad too high, for that price I would rather buy OPI or Essie.

I love this idea! I have the polar purple and got a few compliments on it. I love how it gives off a 3-D effect when it catches the light. As others have mentioned, there are two drawbacks... the price is high (I lucked out and got a $1.00 off coupon when I was at Walgreens) and if you aren't being careful, you can smudge the polish while you are applying the design from the magnet hidden in the cap. I do like that you can close the actual nail polish and have the lid separate though. Do try it, it's fun!
