Die Hard - ok, not exactly a traditional Xmas movie but still all about getting to your family to celebrate the holidays.... Even if you have to take down a building in the meantime.
My favorite scene from a Christmas movie is from Mixed Nuts when Adam Sandler sings Katherine the song he wrote and they're all eating Chinese food. It's hilarious!
"It's a Wonderful Life", I get emotional each and every time when the entire town comes to help George at the end of the movie. George picks up Zuzu and the bell rings. " Attaboy, Clarence." Even in black and white, it never fails to give me a warm, holiday feeling! And, isn't that what this season is supposed to do? Thank for this chance!
I grew up watching A Christmas Story with my family multiple times from Thanksgiving until Christmas and now I share that same tradition with my kids. I think they could watch it at least once a day every day. Our favorite part of the movie is when they are opening presents and Ralphie has to put on the pink bunny suit. My kids laugh so hard every time they see it!
My favorite holiday movie scene is from The Grinch Stole Christmas, when the Grinch's heart grows 3 sizes as he realizes that Christmas isn't about extravagant gifts and over the top decorations, but it is about love and joy. :)
My favorite scene in a movie is when Bing Crosby sings Count your blessings to Rosemary Clooney in the movie White Christmas. I Love Bing, best Christmas movie ever!!!
It's just too hard to pick one scene because I love all of them in Christmas Vacation!
Judy Garland singing "Have yourself a merry little Christmas" in "Meet me in St.Louis". Its such a beautiful and heartfelt moment.
I love home alone movie scene when he signs to a comb.when he shaved himself and scream.
national lampoons chrstimas vacation. funny, extremist view of what it can really feel like to spend time with family e.g. "shitters full" or Chevy shopping and saying "its getting nippley out" lol
I'm honestly not a huge fan of traditional Christmas movies. I don't like all the sappy scenes. Which is why my favorite Christmas movie (if it counts) is The Nightmare Before Christmas. My favorite scene is when Jack first discovers Christmas Town. He's so excited about Christmas and wants to bring joy to the everyone (although he does it in the wrong way). I like the song he sings and all the colors.
I love The Nightmare Before Christmas; especially when Jack Skellington delivers all of his morbid gifts with such enthusiasm.
Rudolph! When Santa see's his nose light up for the first time and laughs!
I love when Kevin in home alone slaps his face!
I like when the iron hits the burgler in the face in Home Alone, and when the the Angel gets his wings in its a Wonderful Life.
