Her Serene Highness, Grace of Monaco | Mary Queen of Scots | Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge |
designed by Helen Rose | designed by Monique Lhuillier | designed by Sarah Burton |
The first trend on our list, Long Lace Sleeves, may be inspired by 3 Royal Brides, namely Grace Kelly (whose fashions will soon be appearing on the big screen in the biopic Grace of Monaco with Nicole Kidman in the title role), Mary Queen of Scots (whose costuming has been burning up the tv screen in the CW's REIGN, and the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton. |
Ersa Atelier | Winnie Couture | Monique Lhuillier |
The next trend is The Blushing Bride as all manner of 'think pink' dresses continue in popularity - every shade from fuchsia to peony to powder is available as evidenced by celebrity brides Jessica Biel, Reese Witherspoon, and Kaley Cuoco. |
Vera Wang | Monique Lhuillier | Oscar de la Renta |
The last trend is Sculptural Fabrics and shapes, with the return of duchesse satin that creates a tailored look in contrast to the Boho, unstructured feeling of recent years. |
Pronovias | Rosa Clara | Theia |

I think a nice sleek sheath dress looks classiest.
I personally like the mermaid dresses the best! They're so flattering and gorgeous and bride like to me. Something similar to the Monique dress above, except more glitz and glam added to it!! Gotta sparkle.
I like the Oscar de La Renta and Theia, not necessary needs to be white, I can go with a pearl color or off white.
Personally I prefer Victorian type looks.....but there are some "modern" gowns that are drop dead gorgeous as well!
Ii like the monique lhuillier long lace sleeves
I like Kate Middleton's Dress.
I love the royal inspired lace sleeve look!!
Wow, I love all the wedding dresses pictured. Especially the long sleeve lace. My fave is the vera wang!
Monique Lhuillier made a beautiful dress for Reign... love the lace and sculpted fit... so pretty!
I love ball-gown skirts, but not in tulle!!! I think they look best in lush fabrics like satin. My motto for wedding gowns is the same as my motto for hair--Bigger is Better! :)
I love a strapless fit-and-flare lace wedding dress!
I love them ALL! I have been fascinated by weddings since I was very young.
I'm loving the Oscar de la Renta dress. Kinda reminds me of my wedding dress.
I like the simple classic lace dresses but...the Oscar de la Renta is absolutely gorgeous!!!
I like a classic style wedding dress, long sleeved, white.
