The role of a lifetime? or career poison? Who knows what lies ahead for the actor who lands the movie role of the kinky billionaire in the screen adaptation of E.L. James' bestselling trilogy which has sold 70 million copies worldwide.
Universal Pictures announced that Charlie Hunnam, the actor who had originally been set to play the lead, was dropping out of the adult romance and would not be taking on the role.
So now that the search is back on, what actor do you think would make the ideal Christian Grey?
or someone else? Please comment below!
i just hope the movie is as good as the book!!
i think channing tatum would be AWESOME as christian!!! he seems like the seductive dominant type!
Leonardo DiCaprio
I think Jeffery Donovan, Channing Tatum, or Chris Hemsworth would all be good for the roll. I can't wait for the movie.
The one and only, Leonardo DiCaprio,so hot and sexy, fit for the role.
Ian Somerhalder
The one and only,Leonardo DiCaprio,so hot and sexy.
I would be happy with just about any of these options, but I think Ian Somerhalder or Matt Bomer would be the best ones!
No one should play Christian Grey. The author E.L. James went to great lengths to keep Christian's character mysterious-that is the major part of his allure. He can be whoever you want him to be, and no one will fit his role perfectly. This project would have been better as an HBO or Showtime mini series. Having said that, there is no chance Leoarnd DiCaprio would risk his career for this role. It has to be someone relatively unknown-or the viewer will be thinking "that's not Christian Grey, it's_______." I wish whoever takes on this role luck. I think Mr. Hunnam made the right decision
Matt Bomer...who else?!!!!
matt bomer
Matt Bomer!!!!!
Alexander Skarsgard out of those choices. I am not into what I call little men like decaprio, timberlake, seacrest who are short, size small and exude no sex appeal at all. This role requires the person to exude sexy without saying a word. They need to be tall, manly and a little older. John Hamm would be perfect!
Ian or Henry. But then it might very well be career suicide so...
Matt Bomer
