I have my favorite products that are must haves but i will & have tried less expensive products or products that offer a coupon to save money.I do get excited sometimes when a new beauty product that really interests me comes out for sale. :)

I love to try new items the economy won't deter me from shopping for what I need. It all depends on the product and how much it costs. We are watching what we spend but it won't stop me from getting something I need.

With the economey the way it has been I have switched from using Lancome foundation to Cover Girl.. and let me tell you I love it! So much better and cheaper for that part. I am also trying more generic stuff at the stores and am completely happy with my stuff that I purchase.

I agree with thebutlerdidit that products have to be the best quality that I bring in to my home that I can afford. I myself have been looking for products that are family friendly. I use coupons where ever I can on products that are usually too high for me to buy and get them cheaper that way.

I look for products now that are similar than what I have been using, but for a better price than I have been paying. However, I wont pay less for something if the quality is lacking.

If i find a product i like that works well i stick with it Instead of buying something cheaper. cause if i dont like the product or it does nt work I am out that money and end up buying the product i like.so i end up spending more

In today's economy I feel you have to be inventive with budgeting, so I will try new things if they are cheaper most of the time because who knows, they may just work and be a viable alternative.

I've tried more of the "off" brands, such as store brands at the grocery store. I've saved money and found that these brands, in most cases, are as good as the name brand. In a few instances, I've liked the store brand better! I've also become a label reader and really looked for the "origin" of the product. I will not buy fish from China; I could hardly believe where some of our food is coming from once I really started reading labels..I'ts the good ol' USA that I want to support!

I'm not a huge spender on trying everything new under the sun anyhow, so it was easy to maintain what I was spending. A lot of what I try that is "new" is low-risk because the price points are not that high... makeup or skin care, things like that. I am more attracted than ever to bargains, however! I'm not stupid.
