I can't watch my kids suffer with what is going on.I will still give them their treats as well as the snacks they enjoy. They still get a little glow when we give them something special so that makes me feel better than anything I could buy for myself!

I'll be a whole lot more thrifty if we suffer a job loss in our family, but if need be, the one and only thing I will try to splurge on, will be a cut & color every 6 weeks.

I like to treat my son to a movie every once in a while and we usually hide the snacks and take them in with us. :-)

It is important to still treat yourself . I always love to buy a little something for others. I am very careful, cut coupons, look for sales etc. So, if I see it and i really want it....i buy it!

I try to use coupons to get snacks and little treats for the kids. Even if we don't go out to eat as much the little things make a huge difference for us. Like picking stuff to make an extra special meal for the family at home. Iknow they appreciate it and is a real treat for me too.

We are still sitting o.k. I cannot live w/out my make-up and my 10 and 2 year old would literally freak out if I gave up all snacks. Especially since I have recently switched most of the bad sugary snacks to apples and string cheese. We just went out to dinner tonight. It helps the economy that way.

We really enjoy cooking, so we don't eat out much. I definitely have cut back on treats for the kid, considering she's one. She doesn't realize that the shirt I put on her is new. But I know my makeup is new. I have to do something for myself, and makeup is my thing.
