Color is always the most important quality I look for in paint, but only if a good brand provides it. If the brands I want to use don't have it, I'll try to find the closest possible match.

Better paint goes on smoother and more even with two applications. you will end up spending more with cheap paint.

Spending the extra money on quality paint is always a good investment. A beautiful color that you have to repaint the next year is just frustrating , not to mention you will spend a lot more than the few dollars you saved on the cheap paint.

While color is important that really depends on the folks mixing it for you. What really counts is the quality. Once you paint a room you want it to last for quite awhile, unless of course you like moving all your furniture and redoing your rooms every other year or so, not me. I want something that will hold up.

I want a paint that is "green"--both for us and the environment, but ultimately, color comes first.

color is most important to me. After buying a new home with awful colors and I'm repainting every room.

When it comes to paint I believe the saying 'you get what you pay for'..definately applies here! you can get everything in a paint if you select 'quality'

I just recently painted my kitchen and living room with a brand of paint I probably never would have bought (because of the low price), but I fell in love with the color at a friend's house, so decided to give it a try...so far, so good! I have the 'expensive' paint on my bedroom walls....I can't tell the difference!
