When you start to use a new technology (i.e., iPod, Facebook, Blackberry), who most influences your decision to try it?

We all learn about new technologies from many sources, but it’s usually one person or media source that encourages us to take the final leap to try a new gadget or join an online community.  Who is that influential person or source in your life?

    I enjoy new things along with my husband.But i trust myself as well as others on certain products and plus I have friends who trust my judgement

    My Husband really knows his stuff...he is Mr. Research. I would go to him before any one because in 10 years he has never been wrong.....don't tell him that!

    I am actually the one that influences my friends and family the most. I was the first one to hop on the sites, and they slowly come on as they see me spend time there. lol

    Sometimes I buy electronics because of advertisement and sometimes my daughters show with there friends electronics

    It's usually my husband. I'm technically challenged so I wait for him to get the new gadgets, learn and then teach them to me.

    I just kept hearing about twitter on the tv and online so I decided to give it a try - it is fun!

    The person or people who influence me the most when trying out new technology is my friends, associates or family because usually they have tried the technology out and can give me their input about the particular product.

    I read labels on everything: makeup, hair and personal hygeine, household products, food - just about everything . I try to learn about new technology from friends and reading current periodicals.

    I love learning new things....getting older only makes life better with all the knowledge you gather along the way.
