I will try a new product if I believe it will work well and save money including less expensive products sometimes they do work as well as name brand products. I also look for multi-purpose products that do several things. Coupons are great along with the store membership cards that give you an extra discount or money back in the form of store coupons several times a year.
trial and error
The only thing I won't do is substitute price for quality. If a product is less expensive it needs to work at least as well as what I was using in order for me to continue to purchase it. If you have to use more of something or if it doesn't get the job done than you just wasted money.
I love new products, so I have been trying to by new products when i have coupons or a little extra cash.
I still try new products, but mainly only if I can get a coupon or free sample. I am looking for ways to save money when trying new things!
New products come out all the time. What does the economy have to do with it!
Tough times are even more reason to look for product value!
I love to find new items that my family will like, if I can save money at the same time great.
I still like to try new things - even with the downward turn of the economy, there are still opportunities to find a product that may be better than one you have been using.
For me personally, I think that I am buying the same amount of new products as I have before. I have always been one to try new things and that hasn't changes. I am a bargain hunter though and will keep my eye on a products price before buying it if its not something I am sure that we will enjoy. We have been lucky so far that the economy hasn't hit us as hard as it has some family and friends, so we are cautious with how we spend our money.
