Which issue is weighing most heavily on your mind right now?

There seems to be a never ending list of things to worry about. With gasoline prices hitting an alltime high of $4 per gallon in many states, finances seem to be a big issue for many.

We wondered, what is the most pressing issue on your mind as we head into the summer?

I quit my full time job last year to be a stay at home mom to my daughter. I am hoping and praying I don't have to go back to work. Even if it means skipping meals for myself and never buying new clothes, cutting my own hair, etc., I will do whatever is necessary to be home with my daughter, which is where I believe I belong. We are getting by okay though it is tight. I don't like how things are, but they will have to get a lot worse before I leave my baby girl to return to the outside workforce.

WEl lin some places it may be easier to ride a bike to work, but not in all locations in the country can you do that. Wehre I live riding a bike to work would take like 3 hours, and riding buses would take about the same not to mention having to ride three different ones. I mean having to get up adn ride a bike for three hours doesn't exactly spell healthy to me, it spells break down and quick. My husbadn and I are jsut cutting back traveling where we can, and we are making it, but I worry that when we have children, our bills will sky rocket so out of control that they will end up starving. I dont' even know how people on minimum wage make it.

I worry about the welfare of my family & friends because of all of the above. Prices are going up on everything. It's never certain which is going to cost more a gallon of gas or a gallon of milk. We live in a low income rural area and don't have alot of the options people in more cosmopolitan areas have.

i just graduated and i was working as a waitress for awhile. when i started serving, i used to leave with no less than $200 a night. the worse the economy has gotten, the less people are going out to eat and the less they are tipping, which for servers is our salary. i had to leave the business because the economy didnt put me in a postion where i could depend on other broke Americans to pay my bills. Now i work in an office and im making half what i used to cause i cant find a job even with my degree.

God has NEVER let us down. I'm 43, I have been married over 24 yrs. I don't worry about the future. I live hoping that He will work through me, and through my family to draw others near to Himself!

We have no need to fear the future, as we stay close to Him. God will alwys provide for us. The ways He provides change - but He doesn't it!

I am have gone back to school and I am driving an extra 100 miles a day for part of the summer to take classes. This is really putting a hurt on my family's budget. Gas prices are way too high, and my family and I are learning about sacrafice in order for me to go back to school. What a hard lesson for children to learn, but very important in the long run.
