Sexy photos are ubiquitous in the American media, but the Miss USA pageant is enjoyed by people of all ages. The racy photos of the contestants caused to-be-expected outcries, but does it surprise you?
Love it (9.3%)
Tone it down a little (35.6%)
Completely inappropriate (32.9%)
It's their choice... (24.5%)
While it is more than I personally prefer, I believe it is reflective of 21st Century expectations of women. I particularly dislike this move, considering how the rules and regulations have disqualified young women in the past for what I consider similar styles and behavior.
I understand that it's not the 1950's but I think that they are going a little too far with the pictures. You can look beautiful and sexy while completely dressed.
I think that a lady should act like a lady, dress like a lady and speak like a lady. I f she is going to represent the USA she should be a LADY.
They are showing way to much skin!! No wonder kids these days have more trouble.
She looks beautiful and I'm sure she feels great and she could be a role model to other women or even young adults or kids.
I have always thought of the pageant as more of an all american beautiful, talented girl - not poses that are inappropriate and sexy.
She could be more covered up and still be beautiful
What is happening ? That everything has to sexy...what about natural beauty..all the fake stuff ,exposing everything nothing for the imagination anymore!
i think that our little girls look at them and want to "be like them" therefore they should tone it down a bit.
They are beautiful women, what's wrong with sexy pictures? They are tastefully done and don't show anything more than the bikinis they wear.
