Do you do your taxes yourself, or do you get them done by an accountant?

Tax Day is right around the corner on April 15th.  We’re curious if you do your own taxes, or you go to an accountant to get them done.  Have you already submitted them, or will you be waiting until the last minute?  Do you do them online or the old fashioned way?

    Close relative owns an accounting firm so all I need to do is complete a worksheet,take him out for a thank- you dinner with cocktails, ... and receive a nice refund!!!!

    first year i sent my taxes "professional", they totally messed it up and took forever to fix it. this last year i went on taxact.com and it was awesome. speedy transfer into my account too.

    So much easier and faster to use H&R block.

    i dont like that the only option for using a professional is "confused"...we use one because our taxes are very involved and we can always get our moneys worth because tax law changes and its cheaper to pay a professional then spend the amount of time it would take for me to learn all of the correct deductions. Why re-invent the wheel.

    I do our taxes myself. Ours are fairly uncomplicated, and with all the online programs available today it makes it pretty easy to understand.

    we're using software this time. our refund was comparable to last year's, so I hope we did it correctly!

    My husband did ours. If it were not for him, I would need an accountant.
