Are you or anyone in your household lactose intolerant?

There seem to be so many new Lactose free products on the market.  Every time we go to the supermarket there's something new.  For those of us who are lactose intolerant ,or have a loved one who is, this is music to our ears.

We were curious, are you or anyone in your household lactose intolerant?  Do you have an easy time finding products that you like that are lactose free?

Yes (32.0%)

No (68.0%)

I'm lactose intolerant and I find it very easy to find alternatives to dairy products that contain it. Unlike many, however, I stick with products that are soy, rice, or goat's milk based because I can't stand the taste of Lactaid. (p.s: Can we get a reply system set up for the comments? I'd love to reply to some of the individual commentors here, but it doesn't seem like I can do so without sending a shout out from my own posted comments.)

I am not lactose intolerant but every once in awhile my body doesn;t agree with dairy. I buy soy and lactose free products to have around as a JIC I have one of those days. I just had my gallbladder out so these products are great to have around.

I am and so is my youngest daughter. Lactaid works for her but not me. I'm not a huge fan of milk but do like cereal have been considering trying soy milk but is so pricey! Is strange; milk and ice crean kill me but cheese doesn't seem to bother me nor does McDonald's twist cones. Which by the way are wonderful...lol My step-mom is the same way she can also eat McDonald's ice cream products without problems.

I drink Organic Valley. I recently "accidently bought the regular instead of Lactose Free. I discovered I had no problem drinking it.

The only lactose free milk i think tastes "normal" is the Organic Valley. Pricey, but waaay worth it.

I used to drink Lactaid many many years ago. I'm almost embarrassed to say that lactose intolerant milks may have become out-of-sight, out-of-mind to me. Instead, I've been using Rice milk or Almond milk. But, now I am interested in checking out some of the new lactose free products.

I have to use soy milk on my cereal in the morning, as it's the most milk/milk product I consume during the day. I don't usually worry about milk products during the rest of the day though; the effect of some cheese or a tablespoon of milk doesn't scare me enough to alter my habits.

I am a little lactose intolerant. I can have a little bit of Ice Cream or milk and that's it. So I haven't even tried to get lactose free stuff.
