Where was the last place you went and you didn't see someone on a cell phone? The world is about communication. I can honestly say my phone calls are about the same but I can't imagine leaving my house without my cellphone, it feels like leaving without shoes on my feet! But I know emails, texts, and facebook are a huge source of communication for all of us so if you think about it....we're all communicating more!

In my mind, phone calls and texting are 2 different things. I use the phone so little now compared to 5 years ago. I was much more needy of my mother back then and called her every day. I've since cut that cord and have gone the other extreme where I should probably call her more often. But I give a quick text to many people each day, even if it's just a quick "hi there."

I am really bad about texting all the time. Unless I am driving, I am usually texting family members and close friends. I might make 2 phone calls a day. 5 years ago, I had been out of school for about a year and called people all the time. Just remember, Don't text and drive!

I receive way fewer phone calls and way more texts, emails, and Facebook posts/comments. I don't even have a landline anymore! But even with fewer phone calls I still communicate with my friends and family more

I hate phones, thanks to my prior job. After work hours I still have no desire to pick up a phone and call someone. If I can text it, facebook it, chat it, I WILL. However, I'm physically attached to my cell phone (: Just in case.
