What video game do you or your children play?

Video games are a big part of some people's lives. Do you or your children enjoy playing video games? Which ones do you enjoy the most and why? Do you use your console in any ways besides playing games?

    We use the Wii also. I purchased the Wii to ensure that the majority of the games available were appropriate for all ages. Nintendo has really kept out the games that I would prefer to avoid :) I bought Wii Fit last year to ensure that there was some form of movement (not sitting on their butts all the time). I recently bought Wii Fit Yoga for my daughter that is going through cancer treatment to help her learn to relax. We all enjoy playing together.

    My husband and I play the Wii, we have a 10 month old and when he goes to bed we play mariocart with friends online. It's our fun time!

    would love to start using aWii it sounds like fun and the kids or you dont relize that its healthy...

    My husband and I both play games online. He also plays PS3 and I also play DS lite. I love the Netflix feature on the PS3. I also love how we can access each of our PCs from the PS3. I'm looking forward to the new motion sensing controller for the PS3 coming our later in the year. Which platform we choose depends on the games we play. I prefer playing MMOs and FSP (first person shooter) on the PC. I like to play puzzle games on a handheld. Fighting, racing, and adventure games are best on a console (in our case the PS3).

    My childrens like playing games on the wii; fun time after they finish their homework and weekends.

    Our whole family enjoys playing games on the Xbox 360. It has also been great being able to link Netflix through to our television. Video games are my time to sit and relax, so I can't say I understand the appeal of the Wii. If I want to get exercise or jump around, I go get exercise or play outside.
