AEP, a huge power company, is letting people go because of profit being down due to people using less energy. We are supposed to conserve electric but then people lsoe jobs and rates go up.
We started recycling a few months ago, there was a local recycling place that lets you drop off recyclables for free and we had no idea. We also are going to buy cloth diapers for our next baby, it will save us tons of money.
I am doing anything possible. I teach my children about recycling, littering, planting trees, flowers, and our own vegetables. They really want to help and they fully understand their impact! I feel they are truly what will save our future.
I'm using my cloth shopping bags at walmart.
those are the only choices? I have been recycling and reusing, since I was a kid, I am 48 yrs. old now.
I use more home grown fruits and veggies, reuse wood from old fences, barns, etc, recycle plastic and aluminum and paper, use the spiral light bulbs, we have a compost pile and we use cloth bags when shopping.
I recycle EVERYTHING that I can, I use more Earth Friendly Product, I have changed my lightbulbs, we save up errands and try to do them all in one day, instead of going out a whole bunch of times in a week
I recycle, and use the cfl bulbs everywhere, also use tote bags when i grocery shop.
I use power saving bulbs, valves for gas appliances and a Eco friendly car. We also recycle everything possible. We also maintain our own vegetable and fruit garden fresh in my backyard. I live green, love green and Go green,!
