Almost everyone has a mobile phone these days, and we wonder how we ever got along without them! While we love having mobile phones, we don’t always love our mobile phone service provider. Dropped calls, unexpected charges or poor customer service could be the problem, and sometimes it’s hard to switch providers.
Are you happy with your mobile phone service provider? If not, what are you unhappy about?
Very happy (40.4%)
Ok, but could be better (46.9%)
Unhappy, I would switch if I could (12.7%)
I use T-mobile and once in a long while I'll get a dropped call. I wish plans were a little less expensive.
Dropped calls! Also, they are soo expensive!
I have had Sprint for a number of years and to be honest, I'm not sure why. Their billing statements are very confusing and their customer service sucks..when you can reach them.
LISA, it would help if we knew where you live. I would visit each of the companies' respective websites to look at their coverage maps. That would give you a better idea. Some companies have great service in some parts of the country, while spotty coverage in other areas. In my case, I live in Texas, and have always had fantastic service with AT&T, but when I lived in Northern California, my reception was really spotty in some areas.
I have Verizon. I seem to have great coverage except with in a 1 mile radius of my home. I have tried all the suggestions verizon has given me and nothing seems to work. I also recently upgraded my phone as they allow at the end of every 2 year contract. I was very specific when I discussed exactly what I wanted in my new phone while their sales department helped me pick out a phone. I wanted a great camera, a touch screen with a keyboard and a phone that may have a more powerful signal from my home. what I got: A phone with a touchscreen that malfunctioned after two weeks, a camera that only takes photo's in the best lighting and lots of dropped calls. They sent me a replacement phone (refurbished) and it works worse than the first one. The advice they gave me was to buy a new phone at full price because they exchange your phone after two weeks no matter if it's a lemon or not. I will keep you all updated If I get any responses to the last letter I sent them.
Dropped calls and overall costs!
I have verizon. Rarely do I have a dropped call. Service almost anywhere.
All the American plans and way too pricy. The companies are making a killing. 500 text messages contain less data than in a 1-minute voice call, cost the carrier almost nothing, and yet they charge you like crazy for them.
i have verizon..(thanks to alltel buyout)..not happy as i have alltel phones w/verizon service..and ofcourse verizon cant replace as they have had 2 honor alltel service contract w/ insurance company which upon further discussion is the same(assurion) but they have seperate contract 4 their phone??? whatever! regardless get dropped calls. or have incoming call and current phone call will disconnect and phone go dead.. cant receive pic texts as i had before..been a big mess and of course try and find a local office to access alltel and verizon because they only do one or the other
my brother has t mobile and gets dropped calls and no signal all the time.I have atand t and hardly ever have a problem
