Walmart is the worst when it comes to customer service. You can never find anyone in their department and when you finally get someone to help you it's never their department, so they no idea about anything. Winn-dixie on the other hand I think is the best I do all my grocery shopping there because the are so helpful and sweet.

Well when it comes to electronics, we usually hit up Best Buy which in my experience has been the best.*knock on wood* Customer Service was great and the technician was very informative on the best products to use.

I find being a single woman that when I go alone they think i'm stupied and don't know what I'm really looking for. It's a sad day when I have to ask a guy friend to come shopping with me for a new T.V.

I think more training in customer service should be done. I get a lot of sales people who have a poor attitude...... but when I do get someone great..... I tell the supervisor!

Except for places like Best Buy, I do not feel the people know the products they are selling. However, I think most are polite and try to help.

most of the time that sales staff has no knowledge of the products they are selling, and that is if you can find someone to help you -- my favorite is when they start arguing with me and then they wonder why I ask to speak to a manager (who is not always much better)

First off, it depends on where you shop. My favorite is Best Buy. They have some of the best sales staff out there. Second, go in there knowing what your talking about. Educate yourself on some of the products you are looking for.

Sometimes I am treated differently because I am a woman because especially if the salesman is a man, they think I am not knowledgeable.

I'm in my late 20's and have purple hair...so I'm treated ok, usually the treatment gets better as they begin to realize I really am an adult. But it doesn't really bother me, I usually do my research before I buy electronics so I don't really need salespeople until I'm ready to make the purchase and then "Excuse me, can you get one of these to the cash register for me" usually gets the respect needed LOL
