For many of us, its never too early to start thinking about the holidays! It seems that making a mental note throughout the year of great ideas for gifts (and what those on your gift list might want!) is a good way to get a jump on the holiday time craziness! Sometimes buying in advance can give you access to best selection and even better prices!
So, we were curious, how do you get your best gift ideas for the holidays? Please tell us what you think. We want to know!

i love to go shopping with friend and we are always talking
I love giving!!! Giving makes me feel useful! Whether it is ideas or gifts it is wonderful! YAY!
I love shopping & trying out new things to see if they actually work.
I like to try to find out what people like by listening- and get them something unexpected.
I listen to family & friends all year about things they might say like or need, sometimes if I see it early on for a great price I will purchase it & put away until the holidays. This saves alot of time & money.
We usually do a secret Santa gift (pick a name from a hat) for the adults and gifts for all the kids. It seems like the older i get the more gifts really dont matter as much as spending time with the ones i love.
My family and friends give the best advice on products. Then I know what is worth purchasing
Actually, I try to think of something that reflects back to something that has happened to them. Example: every year at Christmas as a gag gift I get my niece a peguin of some kind (or many of them...lol) because we were all playing the game Mad Gab one Christmas & the words were Deep Inn Quin. Well, she was about to die laughing at my husband because she said that he sounded so very French; saying De Peguin. So now it's a contest between who can find the cutest peguin things things for each other.
Word of mouth always spreads faster than any other method... I know I trust friends and Families reviews over an commercial...
