Of the following compliments, which would you want to hear the most?

We asked this question about a year ago and thought that it would be fun to do it again!

As women, different things motivate us. A group of friends recently got together and starting comparing notes on compliments. One had recently been told that she was beautiful. She said that it made her day. Another said that she would prefer to hear that she is special.

Perhaps, different comments are appropriate at different times but, it got us thinking about what we most liked to hear. There doesn’t seem to be a one size fits all.

    My children and husband tell me that they love me all the time..Its nice to hear it comming from my children but I would really like if my husband would call me beautiful sometimes..

    If someone should say Your funny, that means I made them LAUGH. And maybe for a minute they were happy. This is an ultimate compliment for me.

    My husband tells me he loves me all the time and that I am beautiful. Don't get me wrong, I love to hear that but to be told that I am special, that's a whole different feeling.

    I would love to hear them all as well. I picked beautiful beacause I hear I am loved every day!

    I'm always the dumpee and never the dumper. I haven't said or been told I'm loved in over 7 years so to hear those three words from someone I care about would mean the world to me!

    sometimes hearing i love you all the time makes it seem that you need to hear it less and show it more.

    I think "you're smart" is a great compliment! especially if people look at you and think you're just a pretty girl, but when they recognize your brain, it's a great compliment!

    It really depends on who the comment is coming from. I would prefer different answers from different people. I am smart coming from the boss is great - I love you from the husband, even better. It all depends with me. Overall, I would just like to bring smiles to all so funny works for me.

    You're beautiful is the one for me. It's usually on given out when your at your best. If you hear "I Love You" too often, you tend not to believe it./ "Your Smart" means they need to pick your brain./ " Your Special" means your cool but not marriage material./ "Your Funny" means that's all you have going for you.
