There are only certain brands that I will buy. If one of them is on sale that is the one that I will get. I only buy in the water too.

We love tuna, but don't eat it very often because of the mercury. I do only buy starkist solid white tuna in water.

Reading these comments is making me hungry. Tuna is something I keep in the pantry at all times for a quick meal like creamed tuna on toast or tuna salad. I too buy the water packed tuna and if you have to go with a store brand, always shake the can to get an idea of just how much water is in there. Sometimes those store brands aren't too bad. I'll buy the pouch pack when I have coupons or it's on special. Compared with other proteins, it's a bargain.

I love tuna, but we will only eat albacore in my household and it has to be in water. I can't stand regular tuna fish. It tastes to fishy for my liking.

I only buy certain brands in water, I can't stand it when it's just like sawdust...I like it to actually be in chunks that would resemble the fish it once came from. :) Starkist is my fav. Thanks adgiggle for the info.

I love tuna, despite my two teenage daughters not enjoying it as much as we do, we still eat it often.
