Quality is what makes the color!! With a good quality paint you will never get the look that you may be going after.

Color is important, but these days anything can be color matched in any formula paint... so to me, quality is of utmost importance.

I look first for a specific colour, and then quality/environmentally-friendly products. If I cannot find my desired colour, I move to the closest option.

I agree with hairs2u; Quality, then color, then price for me!

I always buy a good quality paint something that lasts longer, because I don't like to paint very much.

Of color is a factor, but I have learned that quality to me is number one, and I have found an inexpensive way that I can do both quality and color--i may have to wait a bit for the color I desire but........If you go into a Home Depot or Lowes ( I like home depot better because I love Behr paint), they have an OOPPSS section where they have mixed wrong colors of paint, and they sell them for $5 a gallon....I love that a great paint, and a great price.
