Alternatives to help with aging skin and wrinkes are evolving constantly. There are always new lotions and creams on the market. Plastic surgery has become more common over the years.
However, now companies are developing procedures that are much less invasive than plastic surgery and offer a much more subtle approach to dealing with wrinkles.
Have you ever spoken with a doctor about a minimally-invasive procedure to manage issues with wrinkles? What, if anything, might make you interested in learning more about this type of procedure from your doctor?
Yes, I have already spoken with my doctor about procedures to manage aging skin/wrinkes (8.2%)
Yes, I would be willing to talk with my doctor, but have not yet (58.4%)
No, I would not talk to my doctor about procedures to manage aging skin (33.5%)
I have had botox in the past, would like to find something that would not require surgery or injections every 6 months. Real results would get my interest in consulting with my doctor on products that would help minimize wrinkles.
I think it is important to protect your skin from the sun, so using make-up that has sunscreen could help. I also believe in moisturizing and exfoliating.
I agree with agape4gigi, daily cleansing, protecting your skin from the sun, moisturizing and exfoliating.
I'm only 22, but I think it's never too early to start taking care of your skin. I've been dealing with acne here recently, and went to my dermatologist about it. I'm using a Retin-A for acne, but it's also good for wrinkles. I am already getting grey hair, so I'm hoping to keep my skin looking young!
My dermatologist told me to wear sunscreen on my face and neck everyday and to try and avoid wearing makeup. Since not wearing makeup is impossible, I try to find a light power as a base. Protecting your skin is very important...I have been washing my face in the morning and at night since I was 13 years old. I also use a moisturizer that has SPF 15 in it daily.
Also, don't forget to put sunscreen on your hands!
protection and keeping skin mouisturized is my plan
i just hate the thought of injections i rather just put on makeup to try to cover wrinkles
Taking care of my skin the best way i can with sunscreen & already use anti-aging products.
I drink lots of water, use sunscreen and makeup with SP factors. I won't do the Botox or other alternatives, I want to age gracefully and naturally. I think being comfortable with one's self and having a good mindset to do so is important, so I work out and eat healthy!
