they are all important and i want to be able to pick my own doctors to see and specialists to see also.i want them to be able to see my whole family not just one and then have to go to another doctor for something else.i want a doctor that is a family doctor and that listens to you when you go see them about a problem.

My biggest qualm is not having the power to choose a specialist that doesn't require a 2-hour-drive to see. We live in a somewhat small town where there are a number of highly qualified specialists within 5 miles of our house. And yet, these doctors are considered out-of-network providers.

Honestly, my biggest complaint is that insurance companies seem so giant. I never understand completely what's included in the plan, there's a lot of information to go through...when all I really want is to make sure my needs will be covered and how. There has to be a better way (perhaps this is a customer service issue) of getting people, in general, to understand what they're getting without having a distant and impersonal relationship with the provider. If I were to go to an insurance provider's website, for example, I'm sure I'll find a lot of topics, lots of exciting headers and no idea where to start or what to click.

All of the above. However my insurance now has a high deductable on the prescription plan that is killing. $150 for me and 150 for my children. Deductables are going to kill us.. Out of pocket. Ugh...

Money, money, money.....You dont want to get stuck and having insurance is so important to have for a family and individuals but the co-pays and deductibles make it even more difficult. Medical, prescriptions...it just costs so much out of pocket!

I'm lucky, my employer offers three different plans. When choosing a plan, the most important things to me were my monthly premium and my copay. One of the plans, had a very low monthly premium, but it was a high deductible plan. It'd rather pay a bit more each pay period and have a reasonable copayment. My old plan was a high deductible plan and I had to pay $3000 out of pocket before anything was covered. That was just for single coverage!
