I actually buy products in person as much as possible. I like to handle the product before I purchase it. I order specialty products online or products that are difficult to find in my area. I would probably order more products online if more businesses used USPS for shipping. There are many businesses that will only ship to my area using UPS or FedEx which are far too costly. It makes me feel like those companies are trying to take advantage of me.

I like to shop online when I can, sometimes I'd rather go to a store to try something on if it's a pair of pants or something like that because returning something you bought online can sometimes be more trouble than it's worth.

I tooprefer the experience of being in the shop, touching the items and browsing around. I use online purchases for sending long distance gifts, i.e. flowers, gift baskets etc.

I did most of my winter holiday shopping online. I'm not a fan of crowds at malls or retail outlets, and like the online-only deals. Retailers who kept their shipping costs low (less than $10) were my favorites.

The only time I placed an order online was when I won a free Amazon gift card for $10.00,but I only spent $1.26 on a coffee sample because the shipping was $8.49. I could get a whole can of Maxwell House for less than that. I would much rather shop in stores any day. But the card was free and it was a new and exciting experience anyway because I never win anything ever! (haha).

I hate going to the mall and have come to use the internet to compare shop prices. In doing this I now calculate the shipping costs against the cost to drive to the store. In some instances it is cheaper to purchase online and when I can, I do so. It really depends on the product.

Strongly agree. Personal choice. Usually get better prices and free shipping. I have been purchasing online since 1998 and have saved ALOT of money. I also enter contests and print coupons that save me $$$.

I enjoy shopping on line when they offer free shipping days! The only exception is for clothes, those I prefer to try on first before purchasing. I always use PayPal so it's secure and I love the fact that things get delivered right to my home and I don't have to lug it to my car!

I typically buy gifts via the internet for friends and family. All of my family is spread out across the USA and it is easier for me to buy things have the on line store package it and ship it for me. Typically do not have time to get to the post office.

i think this is phrased poorly...maybe jsut remove the 'as often as possible'. I will shop online whenever i feel there is a better deal there and trust the retailer or site. I dont shop online because i like it and pay more, or shop instore b/c i like it and will pay more. I will buy wherever it makes the most sense. I love shopping online tho!
