Doesnt seems to work with my hair, I still need to use a straighter to do my hair day after I use product, I will keep trying!

this was disappointing for me. I have long thick hair and it takes forever to dry, so I usually sleep on it then straight iron in the morning. I haven't noticed any difference, but I just can't blow it fully dry. But I still love Avesta facial products.

I was excited to try out the Aveda Naturally Straight Hair Product, compliments of SheSpeaks/Aveda. Though I liked the scent, the product did not work too well for me. Because my hair dries very quickly, it was difficult and troublesome to apply the product on damp hair, one section at a time. And I still had to use a flat iron to get the desired results.

I like the idea of the product, but I did not feel like it made the straightening process and easier. I am someone with pretty curly hair and straightening it for that long is not something I usually do. I did feel like it got greasy after short period of time.

Not impressed. I have used this product as the directions stated, but I'm not a fan. I added it section by section to my hair and it was a greasy mess. The next day I only added a little and it felt heavy and was hard to manage. My hair was limp and flat. I would rather blow dry and flat iron with no product at all than use this. I did the 7 day challenge and it failed. The only plus I noticed was when I woke up it was still straight.

This product did make my hair straighter and less frizzy, but it left my hair with a heavy feeling like it had too much product in it. I tried using less product each time and that didn't seem to help the heavy feeling. I do like the fact that I don't have to use a flatiron while using this product. I will definately use this on the rainy days to stop the frizz. I love the clean smell.

I received a free sample from SheSpeaks. My hair is very thick and curly naturally. I was very excited and interested to try the product. The first time I used it I thought maybe I had used too much. My hair felt really full of "product" and not clean even though I had just washed it. After a few hours I ended up putting my hair up in a ponytail to get it off my fade and neck. It felt heavy to me. The next morning my hair appeAred to be very greasy looking but wasn't when you touched it. In addition to that ALL of my curl had come back overnight. Maybe more curly than normal...odd. I would use some more of the sample tube if I wanted to get ny hair really straight for a special reason. I would not use day to day.

I wish this were a better product. Until about a year ago I had really straight hair. In the last year it has started curling up underneath, while still growing out straight on top. I got really excited about this product, hoping that it would reduce my need for a flat iron. Unfortunately, I haven't noticed much of an impact. The product smells nice, and I haven't noticed the build up that some other reviewers have, but my hair seems just as frizzy on humid days as it always has been. If it's dry outside, however, I do think the product does well as a styling aid when I use my flat iron.

I have very curly hair. This product gave some weight - much as many other products to - and smells nice and doesn't feel bad after it is on. However it did nothing to make my hair straighter. I think it's meant more for just calming very slightly frizzy hair or something. I used it 5 days straight and took a picture each day - there is no noticeable difference between any of the pictures. That said, I would use it just for styling purposes, but I wouldn't expect it to actually make my hair any straighter.

I was so excited to try this pricey product! I noticed a slight change of my wavy hair after the 4th and 5th application. It didn't give my a break for the flat iron though... Beside making my hair heavy and greasy, it doesn't do anything for me but it does bring some shine to my hair!

I agree with other reviewers comments about the greasy feeling this product leaves behind. When I rinsed off my hands it felt like they were coated in lube....which was now all over my hair. My hair is curly but fine, so it's hard to find something that will tame the frizz without weighing it down. And unfortunately this wasn't it. I am glad I got to try it for free though, because if I had spend money on it, I would have been really bummed out.

I was very excited to try Aveda Naturally Straight, especially because I received it during very humid days. I liked the smell and consistency of it, didn't really help with cutting the time of blow drying and straightening of my hair. It gave my hair greasy look already after 24 hours after the wash, usually I can not wash my hair for 3-4 days.

Applied the product the first time 5 days ago and now again today. I have mixed hair so after I washed and applied the product I blow dried my hair and flat ironed it, but it didn't make it easier for me (which it said it would be easier). After flat ironing my hair it does look shiny and feels soft and straight, but after a day or two my hair feels nasty and greasy. It kinda weighs my hair down. I would recommend to a friend if they wanted good nice shiny hair for a nice date or night out in the town, but that's about it. I wouldn't recommend using this all the time though. Glad I got to try it for free.

It helped my hair become a little straighter, but I still have to use my iron or brush it out to get it straight. It seemed to weigh the curls down so they were just waves. I did notice a greasy feeling & it seemed to bring out the red tones in my hair. Overall, I'm glad I got to try it but it doesn't seem to be for me.

For Aveda the product itself was nicely scented and easy to use. I didn't notice much of a difference by day 5 so I used it a few more days and saw the same results. It helped more on the more humid days and did keep my hair straight but other than that I would just call this a smoothing product and leave it at that I'm glad I tried it but really does not deliver on all that it is supposed to.
