Great easy meals! I received a free sample of this product from SheSpeaks, and this is my own opinion. So easy and fast to prepare. We enjoyed the taste and texture. The smell was super nice and not over powering. The three samples we received were Tasty Bites Organic Chickpea Tikka Masala, Tasty Bites Organic Basmati Rice and Tasty Bites Organic Indian Madras Lentils. I highly recommend you giving these a try. Easy to store in your pantry. The only thing I saw a problem with was the packaging doesn?t tell you the direction to properly microwave. It does instruct you to tear a 2 inch for venting, just don?t lay it flat. Set it straight up, it will not fall over. But I could see people wanting to lay it flat, don?t do that. Great product and I definitely will be purchasing more to have in our pantry for easy fast meals.

Taste of India Since I am not a vegetarian I was sure I would not like the Chickpea with Tikka Masala or the Madras Lentils. I usually eat Indian food that contain meat (but I get mild). It was easy to prepare in no time. With the Chickpea, I mixed it with about a half bag of the Basmati Rice. For me it was a little spicy but good. The Madras Lentils, I had saved the majority of the rice and mixed it together. The rice was able to absorb some of the juice. Overall I was pleased with both of them.

These taste great and are super convenient - just microwave the package for 90 seconds. They're vegetarian and gluten free, not too spicy, perfect as a taco filling, either for vegetarian tacos or as a base for chicken. I think the consistency is a bit runny, and the occasional large smashed bean in the otherwise smooth mixture is a bit off-putting, that's why I didn't rate it five stars.

Extremely convenient and authentic flavor The convenience of this meal is exceptional. The madras lintels are firm not mushy and have an authentic Indian cuisine flavor. I did add a dash of salt to enhance the flavor after tasting it first. This is a vegetarian dish and I can say that I did not miss any meat flavoring.

Good travel meal but messy. ?I received this product free from SheSpeaks, and this is my own opinion.? The packets are very convenient and east to heat up. Taste was 8/10 (I mean fresh is always better), Gluten free is always a plus in our household. My only issue is that there is quite a bit of sauce in the packet and a little messy to squeeze it all out into a round bowl. And sometimes while ripping the packet, it rips unevenly. Also no way to use a portion and slide closed--must use it all. I liked the lentils more, than the chick peas. I wish there were more meat protein but that's a personal preference.

As the package states, it?s easy and quick to prepare. As a family of four who all have hectic schedules this meal came in handy on a busy weeknight. My kids love Indian food, and all we had to do was pop it in the microwave, can?t get easier than that. We all liked, not loved it. It does need more flavoring, but not a deal breaker. I would buy it again just on the convenience factor. I received this product free from SheSpeaks, and this is my own opinion.

Hearty Swirl of Spices The Madras Lentils by Tasty Bite delivers a hearty swirl of spices. The lentils cooked with the creamy tomato sauce, onions and spices melt into a fantastic meal. I love that you can eat it as a soup or with naan bread. The packaging is easy to tear and I like that it can stand alone on its own. I wish it didn't have milk. Perhaps if it had coconut milk it could be vegan.

Spicy I received a free sample of this Tasty Bite from Shespeaks. I did try it even though I cannot eat anything that is spicy. The three samples I received were Tasty Bites Organic Chickpea Tikka Masala, Tasty Bites Organic Basmati Rice and Tasty Bites Organic Indian Madras Lentils. I wanted to know what it did taste like so I made when a few friends were over. While it was way too spicy for me they seemed to like it fine. I also did try one bit with their rice and if I could have eaten it, I would have. I did enjoy the rice and I will look to buy something that doesn't have any spice. I love the idea that is so easy and quick to make, all within minutes. I don't think I would buy these two again only because I cannot tolerate any spicy food.

Tasty Bite Madras Lentils This was good but this is not something i would eat again because it was to spicy

I received a free sample of this product from SheSpeaks and this is my own opinion. I think this could be used as a thin dip, but it needs some cheese added to help flavor it.

Tasty Bite Review I received samples of Tasty Bite's Madras Lentils, Chickpea Tikka Masala and Basmati Rice. The packages promised a meal in 90 seconds, and as a busy mom, having time-saving meals around is important for my sanity. I tried the Madras Lentils with the Basmati Rice first. I poured the lentils over the rice, expecting something thick and hearty but instead, it was soupy and looked unappetizing. The flavor of the lentils were pretty bland but not unedible. The rice was probably the worst part. It was flat, no fluff but this should be expected from microwaveable rice. I had the Chickpea Tikka Masala the next day, this time with my own freshly made basmati rice and wow, what a difference. The tikka masala was nice and thick and flavorful. The fresh basmati rice made it taste even better. I would definitely purchase the chickpea tikka masala in the future. I received these products for free and these are my own, honest opinions.

Not a huge hit in my house. I received this product free from SheSpeaks, and this is my own opinion: Tasty Bites Chickpea Tikka Masala, Madras Lentils, and Basmati Rice. I have never had Indian food before, so I wasn't sure what to expect with these products. I decided to make this a family taste test. There were 6 of us - 2 very picky eaters, 2 semi picky eaters, and 2 who will eat just about anything and love trying new things. We all agreed that the Madras Lentils tasted a bit like a gritty chili. It wasn't too bad, not spicy at all. It's not something I would rush out to buy again, but also not something I would turn down at a friend's house if it were served over the rice. The package was easy to open and serve. The rice was easy enough to open and tasted like any other rice, but it was very sticky and clumpy and hard to serve from a pouch. If you're dumping the whole thing in one bowl, that wouldn't really be a problem. Since I was serving out samples, it was a big mess. The Chickpea Tikka Marsala was not a hit. My fiancé, who is a little more worldly than I, said that Masala is usually spicy, but right away we noticed this smelled very sweet. I was the 4th of 6 people to try this and judging from the reactions of the first 3, I was not expecting to like it. At first taste, it didn't seem horrible. I went for a second bite and the aftertaste hit. I gave it a moment and tried again for that second bite, but I gagged. No one got past the first bite. We definitely will not be buying the Chickpea Tikka Masala.

I received a free sample of this Tasty Bite from Shespeaks. The Madrus Lentils is a better option to purchase than other products I tried from this line. It was easy to prepare and made enough for 3 people.

Eh.. Disappointed. I received this product from 'SheSpeaks' for an honest review... I was very disappointed about this product! It wasn't spices like most Indian foods are, actually I had to add my own spices and seasoning just for flavor to this meal because it was just "blah" (bland). I wouldn't recommendations this product.

Tried but not a fan I received 3 products to try Basmati rice, chickpea masala and madras lentils. The rice was delicious and I would buy again. The chickpea tikka Masala was to crunchy for me . It had corn in it that was too hard and same with the chick peas. The sauce was very tasty. The Madras lentils were tasty but I should have cooked them longer. They were not soft. All three products were very easy to open and prepare but with the exception of the rice should have been cooked longer.
