Creating a Relaxing Atmosphere
The first step to a successful staycation is setting the mood. Turn your home into a relaxing retreat with these simple ideas:
I would love to relax at the pool and pamper myself with skincare products and a great dinner and friends.
A staycation would include physical activities outdoors such as hiking or playing pickleball as well as relaxing outside and sharing a meal with family and friends.
My ideal staycation would include time outside spent with family while enjoying good food.
I need to Declutter and Clean!
We do a TV Binge a thon - introducing our kid to TV shows we love. We just finished Psych (plus the 3 movies!)
My ideal staycation is sitting on my lawn chair in my backyard and just resting and relaxing. My backyard is quiet, serene, and I enjoy bird watching in my backyard. The staycation activities that I would like to try is virtual travel and movie marathon. Since I would be home during a staycation, it would be fun to check out museum tours from other countries. It would be like I traveled to another country to visit their museum. As for movie marathon, I would like to watch all the prior Bad Boys and Beverly Hills Cop movies to get me prepared for the latest sequels of those movies.
My ideal staycation is no cleaning, movies, and grilling out!
Game & Puzzle Nights are ideal! I'm probably the only person who hasn't played cornhole and I'd like to try that this summer.
My ideal staycation is having a clean house, grilling & eating outside, then a family movie night.
I love having a movie marathon!
I like serving iced coffee and relaxing, taking a walk around the neighborhood and reading a book or magazine! The spa day at home sounds perfect too!
I like barbecuing at home, relaxing outside with good food and drinks, playing music, running through the sprinkler like a kid again.
Creating a relaxing atmosphere sounds like a great idea. I've been working on decluttering but still have a long way to go. For fun, I'd love to catch up on some tv series I've been wanting to watch.
sound spa at home sounds lovely and healing
My ideal staycation involves a mix of relaxation and fun activities at home. I?d love to have a home spa day with DIY facials and bubble baths, cook new recipes for themed dinners, and host a movie marathon with cozy snacks. Gardening and setting up an outdoor space would be refreshing, and reading books along with journaling can be quite peaceful. Adding in some home workouts and yoga sessions would keep things balanced and invigorating. These activities make for a perfect, refreshing staycation without leaving home!
