A true summer delight This is the real thing - playful, whimsical, charming, and with an 80's luxe beach vibe that I find irresistible (think Bain de Soleil and not Coppertone). It's a luscious and intoxicating blend of Coconut Milk, Coconut Water, Banana, Pineapple, Solar Notes, Bergamot, Sea Salt... even a Fabric note intended to provide a hint of bathing suit lycra. The only note I find jarring is the top note of Pettigrain, but that brings me to my next point. This is one mercurial little fragrance. Seriously. Depending on your body chemistry on any given day, this is going to be a different experience whenever you wear it. Think of this as the mood ring of perfumes, because it basically is. The first time I wore it, the shrill shriek of Pettigrain nearly made me empty the bottle down the drain. Luckily, it faded quickly and the resulting scent enchanted me right out of my initial plans. Today? Not a hint of Pettigrain and the sweetness of the tropical fruits is warmed and mellowed more than usual by the Solar Notes and Sea Salt. On other days, I've smelt much like a Pina Colada (in a good way). As I said, this is a very changeable offering. But that only adds to the pleasure of wearing this EDT, at least I think so. Therefore, go forth and pick up a bottle with my hearty approval. It's fun, and isn't fun the best thing to have?
