It's an unofficial holiday, but it should be one that every person should practice. It's "Compliment Day", and it's a great way to put a smile on anyone's face. This "day" was created by New Hampshire natives Kathy Chamberlin and Debby Hoffman back in 1998, per Google information.
Compliment Day is the day when you tell any person something nice about them. It doesn't have to be a specific person or a certain compliment. Just a little, "You've got a great smile", or a , "I love that scent on you" will suffice. It can be your Mom, Dad, Sister, Brother, or even the person standing in the line with you waiting for a cup of java. Though Compliment Day has come and passed, try observing Compliment Day every day to help keep the spirit of the holiday alive. Who knows, maybe the world will be happier place, even if it's only for just one day!
thx for this post . this is so true. If we could all remember to say something nice to those around us we could make someone have a sunnier day.
Keeping moving and involved.
Every little bit helps when you hear it from someone! words of motivation I love it!
