there is a fairly new invention out called e-cigarette.it looks like a real cigarette but it is only nicotine,no carcinogens.the government is trying to get it banned, why? because it will lose the tax money they get from the cigarettes. If I find it online I will post the site.

I've tried everything...even the Chantix. I'm hoping that my willpower will lead me to quit before the prices go up!!

I am trying to encourage my husband to quit. I think he wants to, but hasn't completely committed himself to trying. I think willpower is very important.

My ex is trying to quit again. He managed to stop for 2 years the first time but allergies started making him miserable and he started up again. I think the price of smokes are finally giving him enough incentive to quit.

I am trying to quit and it's one of the hardest things to do. Reading all your posts is such an encouragement. Once the weather gets nicer I'll be able to spend more time outside and that will keep my "hands" busy and have a better chance of quitting.

My husband smokes. He has a "man cave" downstairs. I still smell the smoke coming through the vents. His clothes, the furniture downstairs, and his body smell of smoke. I am allergic to the smoke. He is not being insensitive - he is addicted. He has tried numerous times, but always starts again. I'm concerned for his health as well as mine.

Yes, my fiancee' wants to quit. He is having a very difficult time because he has smoked for almost 30 years. He is going to talk with his doctor about things that could help him quit.
