The last time you purchased paint, what was the most important factor?

Sometimes a fresh color and coat of paint is just the trick to brighten a room and even our mood!  Many SheSpeaks members have talked about their love for redecorating rooms with simple tricks like a new coat of paint.

    First you need to choose a quality brand, then a color can be picked from those available for that brand. As with most all products, quality over quantity

    I find that the different brands cannot offer the same exact color,for this reason I go by color alone basically, unless it's in the white family.

    Color is imperative but doesn't do any good no matter what the color is if the quality sucks. Always spend the extra buck on high quality paint.

    Picking the right color is the most important in my opinion. If you are off on your color just a little bit it can be a disaster, expecially with greens.

    Color is important, but remember the shade may change slightly when you use a matte color or a satin color. Quality makes a difference too.

    Quality is #1 you can make it any color you want but you need to start with a great base that will hold up to cleaning well. I have 2 toddlers and need to clean my walls all the time.
