Which issue is weighing most heavily on your mind right now?

There seems to be a never ending list of things to worry about. With gasoline prices hitting an alltime high of $4 per gallon in many states, finances seem to be a big issue for many.

We wondered, what is the most pressing issue on your mind as we head into the summer?

Health (15.5%)

Economy/finances (64.7%)

This is a time where everyone is cutting back on spenditures. Less $ is going around.... which creates a deficit in everybodies pocketbook. "What comes around goes around"

My insurance has gone up yet have still have a huge amt of co-pays that cut into my food budget. How can anyone afford to eat healthy, avoid trans fats and additives ,sugar etc ????- I think the horrible economy is creating a scenario for serious illness in both children and adults .things are going to get much worse before they get better if someone doesn't do something drastic, and quickly

Expenses are high for everyone, but I worry about my Mom in particular, who is a widow, in her 70's. She's very active, healthy and independant, but I see her cutting back on doing the things she loves because of gas prices - and I try to step in and help when and where I can. There's no need for her life, or those of us who love her and want to be around her and can't to have to suffer because of the economy. Life is too short.

IT SEEMS IF YOU DON'T HAVE A DOUBLE INCOME IN YOUR FAMILY, YOU JUST DON'T SEEM TO MAKE IT. I WAS BLESSED ENOUGH TO BE ABLE TO STAY HOME WITH MY CHILDREN WHEN THEY WERE YOUNG. BUT MY SONS AND THIER WIVES BOTH HAVE TO WORK TO KEEP THIER HEADS ABOVE WATER. THAT IS SAD.

I feel like there is so much uncertainty in the economy. Its going to be interesting to see how that impacts the election in November...

Even with a double income these days, the price of food, gas, child care, and every other expense is so high that you almost need to work 2 jobs each to survive. Kids are going to start missing out on family as their parents will always be working. I wonder when the government is going to step in and help before this country takes a nose dive.

I don't get very much money to begin with, and I struggle as it is.Now with everything going up up up in price, I worry every day about how I am going to make ends meet while supporting 4 people my self included.Even writing about it causes me so much stress and anxiety,I feel as if I might burst.

My health is my worry more than anything. If I am not healthy how can I expect to go to work to pay for the econmic raises? everyone is worried about gas prices, maybe people should ride a bike or walk and then maybe they would become a little healthier, that means less doctor visits, less copays, lower insurance, and longer life with their families. Not to mention the fact, not driving one day a week helps out with the purse. Little things can make a difference, alot of people go without and survive, alot of people are happy for their health.
