    I don't know but because a lot of the ones I have seen. They end up looking rather Hard .I would say they are just better as a decoration.

    We usually make 2 one to eat right away and one display. When the holidays,are over i put it out and enjoy watching the squirrels and birds eatting it.

    Looks delicious It's like the candy canes on my tree. I think it should be eaten.

    My kids don't like gingerbread so we make chocolate sugar cookies. We deck them out using as many candies as we can. And at Christmas we eat them.
