    I've left my jacket in a friend's car a couple times.

    The thing that always seems to get lost on n the ride is my kids tiny toys that they insist to bring but always loose:( then I have to have the I told you so conversation with them at 3 and 5 years old :)

    I had left my cell phone in a cab once. The cab driver picked me up from a casino in Las Vegas and I didn't realize it was missing until I settled in. Unfortunately I didn't have the cab drivers contact info so I never saw it again.
