Have you kept your New Years resolution?

Our January newsletter asked if you had goals you’d like accomplish in 2010 and what would play the biggest role in your success.

We received a lot of great feedback and wanted to follow up with tracking our New Years resolutions.

If you made a resolution, was it kept?  If not, what was your reason?

Please tell us your story. We want to know.

I made a new years resolution to be healthier, I am now working out 4 to 5 times per week. They say that it's suppose to give you more energy ,in reality , it just makes me tired. But I am going to hang in there!

I made a new years resolution to work out at least 4 times per week, and eat healthier, and be careful of what i buy when shopping. Well all 3 were a bust. Untill today I busted the move, went to the gym, made appointment with personal trainer, eating a salad and grilled chicken tonite, and threw away the flyers to the grocery stores. Hey it's a start!

I didn't make a new years resolution since I have kept the promise to myself to become a vegetarian and have kept it for over two years.

I made a new years resolution to quit smoking. I have done very well with this. With the help of enormous will power and hard candy I have not smoked a cigarette yet...dont get me wrong...I still tend to have a craving once in awhile, but havent given in to the temptation.

I started walking 2 miles per day and I have tried to REALLY take time to compliment and be nicer to my husband...not that I wasn't nice before but sometimes the everyday activities just take over. I've realized that I've taken so much for granted and even though I know we love each other, it's nice to verbalize it more.

I'm not considering it a "new year's resolution," but rather a change in behavior. I've decided to really make a conscious effort to buy better quality food. For over a month now, I've been buying food without hormones or pesticides. I buy organic when I can and I've greatly reduced the amount of sugar that we're eating. This combined with excercise has really made a difference in the way I look and feel. I have much more energy, my skin is clearer and I've lost 8 lbs so far.

I didn't want to be one of those people who break their resolution so I just didn't make a resolution this year.
