I do not know what happened this year. Usually done the day before Thanksgiving. The stores are disappointing this year. Stock levels are low, decorations are slim, bah humbug!

I was able to get done the week before Thanksgiving, only due to the fact that a lot of my family came in from out of town for Thanksgiving. I did not want to go twice to do my holiday shopping, so I got it all done before the out of towners arrived! This has really been a first for me to be done so early and it has left so much time for baking! I had a detailed list of what I wanted and set out on a mission to get through it! Mission accomplished!

Completely against my normal last minute panic, I bought almost all my gifts online at Amazon.com....and have already wrapped them. Just a few stocking stuffers left and it's time to sit back and relax...

I was away on unexpected family trip to England for 3 weeks and just got back and realized I had not even started my shopping. Normally I am done by now. I usually hit the Art and Craft shows in the weeks leading up to December. Now am faced with getting decorations up, shopping and shipping which all must be done this week. On top of this, husband is now out of work. So, must shop within new budget constraints. This should be fun, not!

I like to get my Christmas shopping done early, but this year I have lacked a bit more than in the past. I'm hoping to be done with it within the next few days though!

I did 99% of my shopping online. I was able to find better prices then the stores were advertising for the 'real' stores.

I did 1/2 of my shopping online. Most places offered free shipping. Great deals too!
