I have not read the books, and I was not at all interested in this series but I watched it on a whim and it was great! A must see! I am not too into these highly franchised book-to-movie things after Twilight but this movie actually worth seeing over and over again and the acting is very good as well.

I loved this movie. I cant wait until I can buy the whole box set. This movie is definitely worth buying.

Fantastic story and well directed movie. This is better than the first movie and is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat wishing there was more. I cannot wait until the third emerges. In the meantime, this movie if worthy of multiple viewings and I can't say that for many movies today.

Great movie, but not a movie you would want to see 2 times. Although its REALLY LONG. The second time i watched it i had to split it into 2 nights. The first time i saw it was in theaters. When I thought it might be ending soon, the movies was only at halfing point. But other than that it was great. I am actually gonna see the second one today.

This was a good movie and perhaps a good look into an apocalyptic future. It wasn't too hard to figure out how it would end. I'm looking forward to the next movie.

I didn't know anything about this movie but I was bored so I thought I'd give it a try. I can honestly say that I was pleasantly surprised. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie so much and I intend to read the book as well. Ready to see the continuation.

At first I didn't really like this movie but after I watched it for a 2nd time it started to grow on me.....Now I like it and soo ready to see the next one! lol

Fantastic plot line and characters you will grow to love. A must watch for everyone you really get into how the characters are feeling. I watched this movie several times and would recommend it to anyone.

I was so deep into the Twilight series that I didn't even bother to watch this movie to much later. I thought it would not have been my cup of tea but it turned out to be awesome!!! I really did enjoy it! I cannot wait until the next one comes out. It taught me to at least give a movie a try before judging it. A must watch

This was a very good, however a little graphic so younger children probably shouldn't watch, but tweens, teens and adults can all find this very entertaining. I can not wait for the second one to come out.

OMG OMG OMG! I loved this movie. My only problem is that I was so rooting for a Katniss / Gale pairing; but if she is going for the savior then that's just as nice.. My plan is to read the rest of the series so I'm not lost during the sequel.

I really did not enjoy this movie too much. I'm not into futuristic movies too much. I think this movie was more for a younger audience. I didn't get the concept about fighting to the death for what they needed. I wasn't entertained. Not my style.
