latley i have been cooking almost every day in my slow cooker. it is amazing and makes yummy food...i had to get a larger one because the other one i had was way too small and there was never any left overs and when you are cooking a meal in a slow cooker that takes 8 days..lol to cook you def want left overs....anyone else lovin their slow cookers?

I have one, in a box, a top my fridge, for the past 2 years. I stare at it alot and really want to try it out, but Im wondering, I am a healthy eater.....can you make healthy meals in a slow cooker.....all if ever heard made in these things are stews.....rice meals ect...

Check out http://crockpot365.blogspot.com Stephanie Dell has written a book A Year of Slowing Cooking based upon the recipes as her blogspot. Many of the recipes are very family friendly, and are easy and tasty to boot. Yahoo Groups has a Slow Cooker group. These are all good sources to get your more excited about using your crockpot.

I got a new slow cooker a couple weeks ago Love it. . It sure had more bells and whistles than my 25 year old crockpot!

I love my slow cooker I've made roasted chicken, shrimp chowder, and even black beans in it.Plus its very useful when you want to heat up frozen meals.

The crockpot is the best invention ever~ I use mine atleast once a week... I have even found dessert recipes that can be made right in the crockpot! My favorite to make is buffalo chicken dip!

I also am having an affair with my slow cooker! I am a mom of two boys, I work 40 plus hours and am always short on time! I LOVE my slow cooker so much I have 3!! There is nothing I cant make in that thing! Throw it in before you leave to work and when you get home dinner is hot and done. IThere is an APP made for slow cookers and it is super handy! If you love your crock pot you will love the app too!

I use my crockpot everyday! I make steel cut oats in it for breakfast & it turns out perfect. I also use it to make my homemade chicken stock and its so much simpler than the stovetop.
