Ok here goes! I have a 13yr teenage girl and the hormones are CRAZY. Every day theres a new problem or something she wants. Now ahe want a belly button piercing. I know that ibe plave won't do it unless your 16yr w/ a parents consent. I don't think it's that much a big deal but dad says no to young so I'm a lil conflicted. I don't want her to go and try it behind my back so i don't know what to do. I also dont want to go behind my husband either. What to do?

The answer is straight up NO!. Dada already said no, so there is no reason for her to be asking you. What makes her think you can go against him on this? If you go behind his back, you are creating more problems than the one you are trying to already solve. She will get over it. If she goes behind your back, I would be clear she has some stiff reprocussions. This is the point where you are building the fundamental values of respect.

Ditto. Straight up. If you let her walk on you now, you're gonna have major problems later on.

Straight up NO! No to tattoos, piercings, anything that's there for life. No one should make this decision until they're 18! I know from experience. I don't even wear earrings now, after having double earring holes! I've seen my brother try to scrub off a tattoo w/sandpaper after regretting the decision! I have a friend who regretted getting a boyfriend's name tattooed, only to have to get it covered up which made it even larger! I've heard babies screaming, traumatized from ear piercing! I've seen a young girls ear ripped from earrings. It made an ugly torn scar!!!
