Nothing is free

I was offered one free Woman's Day Mag, so I thought I would give it a shot as my mother always subscribed, now my "FREE" Woman's Day Mag is a A BILL that I owe and I never had the chance to decide for myself! That is NOT a good way to get customers. NO customer service or contact us is avalable because there is no one there, you must opt out and write to Iowa. Wow what a scam. Furthermore, I had to resort to joining this on-line just to tell my story, I'm sure they won't print it, but that is the wonderful thing about social media, it will get out to people so they will at least have a choice. I would have been a loyal customer. Shame on you Woman's Day!! And yes I want to opt out of everything to do with this magazine, and will join a more honorable one. **and yes it did say the free mag was without any small print, just one free for your enjoyment, then decide to subcribe with a great discount** :-( Sad way to get customers

Wow! What an experience....just wanted an update about the resolution offered by the magazine, if any. Free and discounted magazine offers are throughout the internet. Thanks for sharing.

I get over 20 magazines a month and they are all free. If you signed up for a free magazine for a trial period or like the ones i get -for a year for free- then after that you will get a bill, you have to write CANCEL on the bill and return it in the mail to the company or go to the website under your account and cancel. I've never had to pay for a magazine for years now.

I get over 20 free magazines and I have never had to pay anything. The magazines you get directly from the publisher are free for the first month only after that you have to pay unless you unsubscribe within the 30 days. I do not get free magazines directly from the publisher. There are several other companies that offer free yearly subscriptions for taking surveys or I use points from the survey sites I am on to "purchase" free magazines. I never have to pay anything other than my points. At the end of the year before the subscription has ended you need to cancel so you do not get billed. I've never had a problem with my free magazine subscriptions.

Great info Talliana. I did not know that a renewal form/bill follows a " free magazine subscriptions. Good to know this fact. Several survey sites offer magazine subscriptions as incentives. Have you any other information to share. Thanks again.

I get the free magazines but I never pay the bill because you don't have to. You get the free magazines and don't sign up for anymore. It is not a bill it is a bill if you want any future magazines. Once my free subscription runs out I never renew it. After two requests to renew I never hear from them again. You are seeing it as a bill and it is just a renewal form. I have never paid and never had a problem and have been doing it for 5 years. I only get the free magazines. Follow Hip2Save and she explains it. She only posts true freebies that she has tried herself. I get free products all the time. I have even entered sweepstakes and won a chair, candy, a nice box of bathing supplies and other things. I even won a box of free chips, think it was from lays. She only puts out real freebies.
