I am inspired by women who speak truth to power.
I think Alicia Keys is a great example to all women out there because she's her true natural real self. She's confident enough to not have to put on a full face of makeup to the world and does not let fame get to her. She's very confident and can teach young woemn a lot through her examples. I would love to get a chance to read her book!
My grandmother always had the best inspiration and quotes for me. She lived through the great depression, wars, had a not so great marriage, raised 5 kids, dealt with almost everything and anything you can think a woman, mother, wife, child, and teen could have been "thrown" at her. Sigh. I miss her horribly.
"I believe in being strong when everything seems to be wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day, and I believe in miracles." -Audrey Hepburn
"I see God in every human being. When I wash the leper's wounds, I feel I am nursing the Lord himself. Is it not a beautiful experience?" -- Mother Theresa, 1977
My mother is my biggest inspirtation.
My grandmother (maternal), Toni Morrison, J.K. Rowling, Malala, and Oprah. Overcoming hardship without it making you bitter and seeing hope is a common theme.
Would love to read this book. Melissa Gates is a hero to me.
I am inspired by the gymnast girls who turned into amazing woman and testified against Larry Nassar this has truly helped women have a voice and demand fair treatment as well as set future precedent for these monsters we wont stand by and let them get away with it anymore!
Maya Angelo has always been one of my favorite people. She says the most powerful suggestions.
Women with the confidence to change the world.
Phil 4:13 always helps me and motivates. I can do all things thru Him that gives me strength
I admire several of friends and family members. Women who do and not wait for others to do things for them.
Maya Angelou and Malala have inspired me as strong women.
Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement.
