PROS: I love this product! I use it for everything! I cut vinyl, cut freezer paper for stenciling, cut cake icing sheets. I love it because anything you can dream about it can cut! . I would definatly say this is a step up from the cricut! CONS: Just fyi you need your computer to use it so traveling with it may be a little difficult. You have to buy all the replacement products (blades, sticky sheets, etc) online.

I am a CRAZED scrapbooker and like most scrappers...we find outselves at a "loss" when in the midst of a layout we have just that special "something" missing. Well, the SD is THE solution! I was sick of buying ENDLESS punches and using another electronic cutting system, where I was forced to buy an ENTIRE memory card of die cuts to use when I really only wanted 1 or 2....well the Silhouette SD solves all that. It is linked to my pc and I can cut ANY true type font...download die cuts from their site ... ONE PIECE AT A TIME... or cut die cuts from my own files! I love this gizmo and God bless my awesome hubby for giving this to me last year for Xmas! I love it!
