Dependable I use these pencils often when I'm sketching, and they are easily one of my most favorite. Very durable. Can take a beating. Of course, with anything, there's wear and tear overtime, but they are well worth the price.

I LOVE these pencils, the only thing I would change is the eraser holding part gets loose after awhile and falls easily but even then that's just from using it MANY times.

I love using the clear point elite 0.7mm mechanical pencil in my woodworking shop because it feels great in your hand and you never have to sharpen it. The lines are clean and clear. I love it.

My daughter LOVES these mechanical pencils for math! She has used the Clearpoint Elite for about 2 years now and refuses to use any others. I just purchased another pack for her since school begins on Sept. 3rd and she takes Pre-Calculus this year in high school. The Clearpoint is .7mm which is a little thicker than the .5 but writes very smooth and doesn't break as easily! We both love the grippers/cushions on the side of the pencil where you hold it as it helps with your fingers not getting as tired and sore if you're doing a lot of writing. Also the Elite comes in several cute colors such as blue, green, red, purple, etc. Her favorite is the green and mine is the purple! They are perfect!!
