If you’re looking for the best hair removal product to add to your cosmetic arsenal, our members have shared a few of their favorites that work best to leave skin smooth and pool-side ready in no time.

Gillette Olay Razor
If you’re looking for a luxurious shave, look no further. This razor includes 5 blades to give you the closest shave possible. And the Olay moisturizing bars that are built in add extra moisture leaving no need to use shaving cream! SheSpeaks member Katie Hopkins calls this razor one of her faves. She says, “First of all, I love the 5 blades. I have very dark and course hair so I need a minimum of 4 blades on any razor to keep from having to shave the same area multiple times. The lotion bars are kind of slimy but I actually liked it. It left my skin silky and soft. The handle grip is also a huge plus for me. I hate not being able to have a good grip on a razor and dropping it in the shower. Over all I am very impressed and will continue to use and purchase this razor!”

Schick Quattro for Women Trim Style Razor & Bikini Trimmer
This one gets bonus points for versatility, going from a 4 blade razor to bikini trimmer simply by flipping the handle.Once the device is flipped open, a battery powered bikini trimmer is revealed that allows you to choose from 3 lengths. SheSpeaks member SweetRose30 is a fan and says, “I love this razor. It's so easy to trim yourself how you like. There are different attachments you put on the blade too cut different lengths. I've had mine for several months and it is still working as good as ever. Can be used in the shower without it breaking which is awesome.”

Nair Vanilla Smoothe Moistuirzing Bikini Cream
For those that want to wipe away unwanted hair, Nair hair removal cream may be the way to go. It works in just minutes and requires no razors or trimmers to get that smooth and stubble free look. Similar to waxing (but without the pain) it is best to grow out your hair before using. SheSpeaks member Ayyejax writes, “Omg I recently tried this product and i love it ! I used it for my bikini area , and I thought it was going to leave me patchy. But omg it didn't ! Must have for sure ladies. You won't need to wax anymore.”

Gillette Fusion ProGlide Power
Though this is marketed as a “men’s razor”, we won’t tell if you won’t. Really though, women everywhere know that most razors are genderless and we use what works well. And, as it turns out this battery powered razor is a hit with women who want a close and nick-free shave. SheSpeaks member Yogabba69 says, “I love this razor, its one of the only kind that my legs will let me use. With this razor i get no razor burn, no bump and less nics. It gides smoothly and gets my legs cleaned up in less time than other kinds. Super sharp blades and has an easy to grip handle. I will never switch brands again!”

Philips Satinelle Advanced Wet & Dry Epilator
Though due to the pain of yanking out your hairs, the epilator is not for everyone. But for those who want long-lasting hair removal on par with waxing but without the mess- this could be the way to go. Like with waxing, the hair that eventually grows back in its place may be softer and finer than it was before. SheSpeaks member AllieKat was sold on this Philips Epilator and says, “I have hated shaving for forever and always wanted to find an alternative.Waxing is too expensive. Things like Nair barely work. Shaving leaves me with ingrown hair and razor burn and I can never get a close enough shave. Not to mention by the next day I already have regrowth. While on a recent shopping trip to ulta, I decided to purchase this. I am now a believer and have fallen in love. it had a bit of a learning curve but I figured it out. I now epilate my underarms, arms, pantyline area, and my legs. It is a little painful at first but I got used to it quickly. and the best part is that these areas are now perfectly smooth and the smoothness lasts for a long time. I had a few hairs that the epilator just wasn’t grabbing but I just used tweezers to touch up. I just can’t believe I didn’t try it sooner. It feels and looks like i get professionally waxed. I recommend that your hair is not too short or too long because either the epilator won’t be able to get a hold of the hair, or it will be more painful. also, make sure to exfoliate beforehand. I recommend using it on dry skin. try this out, you won’t be disappointed! Epilating is so underrated, i can’t believe more people don’t do it!”
